Gasthof Langenberg in Gera

It was very delicious. Personally, too much green on my salad, I prefer a little more cucumber and tomato ect, noodles with garlic is a very small portion, even for me as a woman 😅 everyone tasted it, prices cannot be counted among the cheap but we still like to come again. The next time I visited, I paid € 16.90 for pasta with vegetables. This is really too much. Hence another star deduction and lost us as guests. I like to pay more if the food is good but that's just over the top.

Yesterday we went to the class reunion at the Gasthof Langenberg - first in the cellar on a very nice, well-kept and cozy bowling alley, then in the restaurant. I can unreservedly recommend the restaurant. Very attentive and friendly service, great food and - nowadays also important - a good, but not exaggerated corona protection concept. I will definitely come back here with my family.

The reason for visiting this restaurant was to catch up on a birthday dinner. The atmosphere in the restaurant is calm and relaxed. With friendly service, we have selected four different dishes. The dishes were cooked to the point when they were served. Everything tasted very good, it didn't have to be seasoned. The impression remains, the kitchen and service give their very best to leave a lasting impression on the guest. 👍

It is a pity that good Thuringian food is becoming increasingly difficult to find in Gera. The above Unfortunately, Schenke is no exception. Actually would be 4 Stars justified. However, the critic-resistant and outspoken service staff has provided an additional point deduction. Only the red cabbage was tasty. Each Thuringian roast dish is served with a red-brown uniform sauce. Sometimes the meat is cooked dead. Unfortunately spices are also saved. Otherwise, calculated very confidently. Eating very good Thuringian cuisine and modern furnishings, everything newly renovated. Also a nice bowling alley in the basement.

Bowling is great fun and it's a really nice track. The food is sometimes big cinema and sometimes not even satisfactory, rather poor. The service is always very friendly. All in all 3+ stars.

Always delicious and friendly staff. We eat here regularly, because it really tastes. The card changes according to the season. So it is not monotonous for regulars. In the beer garden you sit quiet and comfortable. Thanks to roofing with gazebos, one or two raindrops do not chase you up. You can also bowling here, we have already tried and found good :-)

The food was great, not to be beat. We did not miss anything, in spite of a full house and for that you also like to spend one more euro, because that really deserves the very good food and the great team. Short and sweet, just recommendable !!!
